Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Rochester, Minnesota. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project. As of April 2023, Discovery Walk is beginning construction and is expected to e complete in the Fall 2023. Funding has been approved for Soldiers Field Memorial Park. Discovery Square began construction in November 2017 and is now complete. Heart of the City began construction on April 13, 2020 and is now underway. Two Discover Square began September 2020 and is now underway. The project scope includes new infrastructure construction projects to support private development in six downtown districts. This is a 20 year project. Discovery Square - a research, medical, innovation and technology hub that will also include residential space. Heart of the City - a downtown district with residential, commercial and retail space. Downtown Waterfront - an area that includes hotels, apartments, offices and a civic center. Central Station - includes a transit hub, community center, mixed-use buildings and residential buildings. Saint Mary's Place - a town square that includes a park, residential space and a Ronald McDonald house. UMR & Recreation Area - northern edge of Solder's Field. University of Minnesota-Rochester (UMR) - an anchoring medical facility.
